Our agency began as the John B. McLaughlin Agency and was established in 1929 by John B. McLaughlin in East Syracuse, N.Y.
His main goal was to serve the growing insurance needs of his community with prompt, friendly and professional service.
In 1984 the agency was purchased by Myron C. Kehoe and the name was changed to McLaughlin-Kehoe Associates, Inc.
In 1993 agency ownership & operation was assumed by Myron Kehoe Jr., Jeffrey Kehoe, Sherry Edick and Shawn Kehoe.
In 1996 a branch office location in Watertown, N.Y. was opened, to better serve our clients North of the greater Syracuse area.
In 1999 The Kraft Insurance Agency located in Liverpool, N.Y. was merged into our organization, further expanding our service area and access to additional insurance companies and markets.
In 2004 our Watertown, N.Y. office merged with the former Ray Linehan Agency as a combined location at 40 Public Square now known as McLaughlin-Kehoe & Linehan Agency.
In 2006 The Vincent J. Scaravillo Agency was merged into our organization and combined with our Liverpool, NY office now known as Kraft & Scaravillo Insurance Agency.
In 2008 Affordable Auto Insurance was merged into our group combining their Cicero, NY office into our Liverpool location and the Syracuse, NY office into our E. Syracuse Location.
In 2010 we began to operate under one unified name for all 3 locations as Affordable McLaughlin & Kehoe Insurance Agency.
Although we have grown in size and changed our look over the years, our commitment to provide skilled customer service remains unchanged.
Today we are a second generation family owned and operated business. We remain deeply rooted in the traditions of the past with an outlook toward growth and progression to serve you well into the future.
Our Mission is to provide our customers personal service along with access to multiple Insurance Companies in order to provide the right policy at the best price.
